Ann Werts (you might have known her as Ann Vanderslice before her marriage) is the founder of Federal Benefits Made Simple which she sold in 2021.
After retiring in April 2024, she continues to work with federal agencies and individual federal employees to answer both common and complicated questions relating to federal benefits.
Ann has provided federal employees a connection between their benefits, retirement and financial planning since 2002. During that time almost every issue you can imagine has come up, and she’s gained a wealth of knowledge on federal benefits and pairing them with a plan. It turns out that while there are a lot of resources, there’s really only one way to master federal benefits and that’s through experience.
